Enjoy Our Beautiful Mediterranean Location

Our Jiu Jitsu camp is located on the Gulf of Oristano. There are beautiful views from the campground which leads to the center of the long sandy shore that fringes the Gulf. It is here the beach leans out on the sea, emerging from the vast 40,000 square meter pinewood forest. The village offers bungalows, mobile homes, tukul, lodge tents, restaurant-pizzeria with patio snack bar, swimming pool, and mini outdoor stage club. There is proximity to hiking and bike paths, Archaeological Museum and the sea at San Giovanni and Is Aruttas.

See The Town of Oristano

oristono.jpg

Oristano is a small city in the center of Sardinia on the west coast, only 45 minutes from the Cagliari (CAG) airport. With its elegant shopping streets, piazzas, small cafes and good restaurants, Oristano's refined and animated center is a lovely place to hang out. Though there’s not a huge amount to see beyond some churches and an interesting archaeological museum, the city makes a good base for the surrounding area.

Explore The Beaches Of Oristano

It's  not just that we love Jiu Jitsu. Jiu Jitsu camps are also a great opportunity to explore the world. Here we can do both, explore the world and play Jiu Jitsu. This Brazilian Jiu Jitsu camp is a great destination here’s why:

The beaches of the province of Oristano are in many ways still wild and pristine, they are far from mass tourism that you can find in other places on the island. The coast is less exploited by tourist but nonetheless breathtaking beautiful. While on holiday in Oristano you'll be spoiled for choice, and you can choose to visit a different beach every day.  Thanks to the ease of connections, the beach of the grains of rice Is Arutas, Mari Ermì, Putzu Idu, S'Archittu, or the romantic small Beach of San Giovanni di Sinis, in the homonym peninsula, will surprise you with their simple beauty.

The Oristano area is abundant with activities from sea to land

These activities are not included in the BJJ camp fees. However, we have a great relationship with all the vendors and cost will be minimal. Also it is important to remember we are on the sea so waves are dependent on wind. No guarantees but no worries we will have plenty fun filled days to experience and explore.

Learn About Our Amazing BJJ World Partnership

Sardus BJJ Academy and The LionHeart Initiative are official partners collaborating

to spread BJJ & MMA worldwide

Sardus is a non-profit organization located in Sardinia working to build and maintain a high quality BJJ school and develop a strong local jiu Jitsu community. The LionHeart Initiative is a non-profit working to help spread Jiu Jitsu in Africa.

After several conversations with The LionHeart Initiative and being educated about their long-term goal of creating local/international opportunities for African athletes to excel at professional MMA, which is rapidly emerging as the world's leading, regulated combat sport. Sardus was excited to forge a relationship and be part of this powerful movement.

Sardus BJJ Academy Camps will donate a portion of their earnings to support the efforts of the LionHeart Initiative. We will be working together at the upcoming Sardus BJJ Academy Camp and developing future endeavors.
